What is idit harel?

Idit Harel is an Israeli-American computer scientist, education technology innovator, and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Globaloria, a learning technology company that provides students with the opportunity to create and develop technology solutions.

Harel is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she earned a PhD in the field of artificial intelligence and cognitive science. She has also taught at Columbia University and the New School in New York, as well as at the University of Georgia.

Apart from her work at Globaloria, Harel has also served as a consultant to various educational institutions and organizations, including UNESCO, the World Bank, and the National Science Foundation. She has authored several publications on education technology, including the book, "Children Designers: Interdisciplinary Constructions for Learning and Knowing Mathematics in a Computer-Rich School".
